This module is primarily aimed at practice managers and GPs dealing with or responsible for the handling of complaints in their practice, or any GP who'd like an overview of complaints handling in general practice.

Over the course of this module we will look at:

  • the NHS complaints procedure in Scotland
  • how to identify a complaint
  • how to handle complaints made by third parties
  • practical complaints handling by working through a fictional complaint.
