Our guest speaker, GP partner and trainer, and author of, 'The GP Consultation Reimagined, A Tale of Two Houses', Dr Martin Brunet, explored the skills that help identify these critical moments, and looked at how to navigate them successfully to get the best outcome for both patient and doctor.
He also delved into some of the concepts of his, 'Two Houses' model of the consultation and how these can apply to communication by doctors working in both primary and secondary care.
